Fast & Furious fans will have something special to celebrate in August. Seven movies from the blockbuster action-adventure franchise are getting a new streaming home.

Per What’s on Netflix, the Fast and Furious Movie Collection will be dropping on Netflix on August 16. This seven film collection includes the 2001 blockbuster that started it all, The Fast and the Furious. Fans or newbies alike can also catch up on 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), before skipping ahead to 2011’s Fast Five, which changed the franchise forever with the introduction of Dwayne Johnson as Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) nemesis-turned-ally, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Agent Luke Hobbs. Netflix subscribers will also be able to watch Johnson and Jason Statham’s 2019 spinoff Hobbs and Shaw, plus Fast & Furious 6 (2013) and Furious 7 (2015).

7 Fast & Furious Movies Land on Netflix in August

The streaming rights for the Fast & Furious franchise are split across several streaming platforms, as Peacock currently has the rights to later films (including F9: The Fast Saga and Fast X, as well as a selection of the earlier entries). NBCUniversal owns Fast and Furious producer Universal Pictures, so it makes sense for the newer films to land on the NBCU-owned Peacock. Select movies are also available to stream on Prime Video, Tubi and the Roku Channel.

Diesel is currently hard at work with The Transporter and The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier on the untitled Fast X sequel, which will reportedly be the final instalment in the main series. Diesel announced on stage at FuelFest that Fast 11 was moving from its March 2026 release date to April 2027. He then stunned fans by announcing that the late Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner would somehow reappear in Fast 11.

“The studio said to me, Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast & Furious April 2027?” he revealed. “I said under three conditions. The first is to bring the franchise back to LA. The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing. The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner. That is what you’re going to get in the finale.”

Following Walker’s tragic death in a car accident in November 2013, producers were previously still able to include Brian in 2015’s Furious 7 thanks to CGI and help from his family. The $1.5 billion blockbuster combined previously-unused footage of Walker with scenes where his brothers Caleb and Cody served as stand-ins for an emotional goodbye between Brian and Dom Toretto. Brian was never killed off in the Fast & Furious series — instead, it was explained that he’d simply left the fast-paced lifestyle behind to raise a family with Dom’s sister, Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster.)

It remains to be seen how Brian will be reintegrated into the Fast Saga in the forthcoming installment, though there’s another Fast 11 comeback that should have fans excited as well. Johnson will be returning as Luke Hobbs following years of publicly feuding with Diesel. The Rock delivered the “long-awaited” news in 2024 that he’d officially signed on to reunite with Diesel for Fast 11. “I am 100% confirming for you guys, the world, that, yes, it is true: Hobbs is back … in the Fast and Furious franchise,” he added. “Let me just say that it has been so incredibly personally gratifying and satisfying and humbling and exciting to see your reactions around the world.”

“I am 100% confirming for you guys, the world, that, yes, it is true: Hobbs is back.”

Johnson is also attached to lead another Fast Saga spinoff, this time pairing him with Jason Momoa for Hobbs & Reyes. Franchise veteran Chris Morgan is on board to write the movie, after previously partnering with Johnson on Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Diesel will executive produce Hobbs & Reyes, perhaps as yet more proof that he and Johnson have truly buried the hatchet once and for all.

The Fast and Furious Movie Collection will debut on Netflix on August 16.
